How to be Successful in Room 213
1. Be on time. Being punctual will not only help you in this class but it will help you in life.
2. Be Prepared. Be prepared to work. Have all your homework ready to hand in at the beginning of class. Late assignments will be zapped.
3. Since we will have many discussions in this class, respect the person who has the floor.
4. No water. Although I reserve the right to change this rule.
5. Misbehavior will not be tolerated. This means no cussing, being rude, or being disrespectful.
6. Keep hands, feet and other extremities to yourself.
7. Remember the Golden Rule. Treat others how you want to be treated. This extends to other people’s property as well.
8. Missed work due to absences: If you happen to miss class, it is the student’s responsibility to obtain missed work and assignments from the teacher. For athletics and other school event absences, it will be the job of the student to notify the teacher before the event so the teacher can give you the assignments a day before your trip, as assignments will still be due on the original due date. Remember you are a student and classes and assignments should come first.
9. In case I am gone from the classroom or absent, you will treat the substitute with the same respect you have for any person. The substitute will be taking notes on how the class acts and report back to me. Consequences for bad reports will be determined by me.
10. Be respectful (keep hands, feet, objects to yourself).
11. Be polite (don’t talk until acknowledged by the teacher).
12. Be responsible (follow all directions the first time; get assigned work completed and turned in).
13. Be your best (always give 100%).
